HRS UK - Bon Voyage!

The HRS UK day trip to Paris, if you're interested join the HRS UK Facebook page for regular updates to the event. Most of the Rebels Ride crew are heading over too so if you want to link up with us en-route your more than welcome.

HRSUK FACEBOOK LINK
https://www.facebook.com/groups/HRSUK

Trip details:
We meet at the Cite Europe shopping centre car park by 10.30am local time on Saturday, 14th May 2016. We will head to Le Touquet down the coast road which should take about two and a half hours. Stop for some food and a drink, then run back to the Ferry/Train terminal along the main road. Those that want to stay over until Sunday can arrange to do so.

We recommend using Eurotunnel to cross The Channel and it costs around £30 return. You need to make your own cross channel booking here...
http://www.eurotunnel.com/uk/home

Latest suggested sailing from Folkstone: 08:20hrs.
Suggested return sailing: Whenever suits you.

The route will be something like the one shown below (click on link) - coastal road to Le Touqet and possibly, the toll road back depending on time.

https://goo.gl/maps/rwuasSf3N492

As far as the return journey goes, I guess everyone will make there own way home (depending on what crossing you are booked on) or even if you are staying over to make a weekend of it. If you use the toll road to get back to Calais, then travelling time shouldn't be any more than an hour.

Ace Cafe - Harley Night

Motorcycles, rock n’ roll and the Ace Cafe…Three simple expressions, but they represent perhaps the most powerful fusion, not only in yesterday's and today’s bike scene worldwide, but also in tomorrow’s. On a bike you can strike out, find new friends, feel the freedom and have a sense of independence

Inspired by rich heritage and traditions, the Ace Cafe still embodies the same values as it did when it was first home to the Ton Up Boys (and girls) and the Rockers. What could be found on a Triton in the 50’s and 60’s is emulated today on modern sports bikes and streetfighters. If you have visited the cafe, you will have seen lines of formidable machinery.

The Ace has an unparalleled and almost religious significance to an ever-increasing numbers of riders from around the world who share the passion. The bikes and the music may change but the spirit remains the same, so don’t just sit there, rev high and join in the myriad of meets and rides that take place throughout the year.
